These presets are starting points to test on scrap, not tested recipes. None has been checked with a test cut. They go beyond wood grain and sandblasted looks, but treat each as an idea to preview and adjust.
In random mode the Texture toolpath makes rows of scallop strokes at one angle, and strokes from different passes are not lined up with each other. Multi-pass settings below therefore give a loose impression of the named surface, not an exact pattern. Where a preset needs a specific shape, you draw or import the vectors and use Use selected vectors as pattern (only Max Cut Depth and Min Depth apply in that mode). The Texture toolpath does not use Pass Depth; it cuts Max Cut Depth in one pass.

Finishing Tips for These Textures
- Layered paint + highlight: Basecoat dark, then dry-brush a light color across the peaks to add visual depth
- Resin fill: Tinted epoxy poured into deep-carved textures (lava, honey drip, craters) is an option
- Torch scorch: Lightly scorching the cut surface after carving adds a burned or aged effect that suits most organic textures
- Metallic rub: Metallic wax (such as Rub 'n Buff) rubbed over a carved texture highlights the peaks
- Blackwash: Thin black paint wiped into the grooves, then wiped off the peaks, adds shading
