What are the small 2D editing tools: Extend Vectors, Set Size, Freehand Draw, grouping, Undo/Redo, and typing math into number fields?

Calculation edit boxes (the hidden gem)
Numerical edit boxes generally accept live math: +, -, , / and fractions. Type the expression and press = to evaluate it in place. Special characters (not case-sensitive) pull job values: W or X = material width, H or Y = material height, T or Z = material thickness, P = pi, I = imperial conversion (mm to inches), M = metric conversion (inches to mm), and ' means feet. Examples: w/2= is half the material width; t-0.25= is the thickness minus a quarter; 2'+10= gives 34 inches; 25.4i= turns 25.4 mm into 1 inch.
Extend Vectors
Extends two vector lines to their common point of intersection. Move the pointer over the end of an open shape (without clicking) to see a dashed preview extension line. Click to set it as the target line (a magenta line stays visible), then hover another span or end to see a second dashed preview, and click the intersection to commit. Right-click resets the tool to pick a different target, and the form's Close button exits. Handy for closing up corners after trimming.
Set Size
Exact-dimension scaling: enter the Width and Height, use Link XY to hold the aspect ratio, pick the Anchor point on the bounding box that stays put, and for 3D components choose Auto Scale Z (scaling in X or Y then scales the Z height in proportion). With several objects selected, choose between scaling the selection as one unit (Scale selection) or scaling items individually. Pressing T opens the Scale form in interactive mode.
Freehand Draw
Pencil-style drawing: hold the left button and draw, and release to finish. The Smoothness slider controls how much smoothing is applied when you release, turning jitter and sharp angles into smoother curves. The Stabilise slider damps small cursor movements as you draw, which is great with a graphics tablet. Press Tab while drawing to close the shape back to its start point. A Fade selected Bitmap slider dims a picture underneath so you can trace it by hand.
Group / Ungroup
Grouping makes multiple objects select, move and transform as one entity, and it is reversible with Ungroup. Group before moving a finished design element, and ungroup when you need the parts back.
Undo / Redo
Undo steps backwards through your changes (Ctrl+Z), and Redo walks forward again after an undo (Ctrl+Y). Both are on the Edit menu.
Pro tips
- The math boxes work in toolpath forms too.
t/2=for a half-thickness depth is the classic. - Draw freehand loose, then raise Smoothness rather than drawing slowly.
