Great file, great results. I just wish there were mild information/tips on carving it (recommend carve height/bits to use would be awesome) but that's mostly personal preference...no matter what 5 stars all around. Highly recommend any of their files (also follow them on Instagram!)
This file is awesome. It’s exactly what I wanted and when I did an Etsy search I had a different file in my cart but then saw kinetic made one and swapped them. That’s because I know the pride they take in their work. Their Instagram profile makes that quite clear!
Great file, I just wish i had a bigger engrave area. But when you see this engraved you never can read it but thats expected. This file is well done and I will continue to buy. Oh and I paused it to go to work and my computer crashed and not because of the file. but here is an image of what i got.
Dave, is an outstand individual to work with. His products around A1. All around great experience interacting with Kinetic Carvings. I've purchased a number of STL's and SVG files, and haven't had any issues with any of them. Ask Dave a question and he gets back to you in a timely manner.
File is exactly what you will need. Choice of wood is very important. Hard Maple makes a really nice carve. I ran the job on S1- Xtool 30 Power/100 Speed/100 Lines. This setting gives a little deeper burn. After the job has ran, let it rest for at least an hour.. vacuum the piece, sand the letters by hand with minimum of 400 grit. this will whiten the letters up for you really nice... Enjoy!!!
Absolutely incredible! The topographic STL printed flawlessly and the level of detail is stunning. The model is clean, well-designed, and sliced perfectly without any issues. The finished piece came out crisp and professional-looking — honestly better than I expected. Quality is top-notch and I’m really impressed with the overall design work. Brought this Department of War logo into the office, and immediately the place turned into a tactical operations center. Co-workers stopped mid-sentence, saluted, and asked me for clearance to use the printer. I swear the HVAC started humming the Army Song. As a pilot, I’ve flown into some intense situations, but nothing prepared me for the authority this logo carries. My desk went from ‘normal workspace’ to ‘command post.’ I’m pretty sure the coffee pot is filing a flight plan now. Morale shot up, chain of command was re-established, and someone actually asked if we were on 12-hour duty shifts. Absolute game-changer. If you need your workplace to respect you the way ATC respects restricted airspace, hang this bad boy up. 10/10 would sortie again.
Easily one of the best custom vector/Svg creators out there. It can get pricey if you’re buying multiple custom pieces but the quality, customer service and ease of use for the files is second to none! I have bought multiple and will continue to purchase here due to the amazing results every time!
Well designed vector for cnc machining, although I used it to make a multicolor 3D print and it looks great and the image was very high quality even zoomed way in. Trivial to import into CAD and use it to create 3D geometry (essentially the reverse of cnc milling)
It was delightful to work with the artist who knew their craft so well. I was able to get help instantly with the files and program help for my projects. Kinetic Carving went above and beyond my expectations with their customer service and product assistance.

Used this on a wall hook as well as a stand for an ax that was presented at a retirement ceremony. This is an SVG, not a 3d printable file, I used blender to make it 3D printable. Perfect for what I needed it for.
Used this about 3-4 times so far and they’ve all come out great. Used Easel software and Vcarve to cut em. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add this patch to a plaque or use as a standalone. Highly recommend seeing sellers instagram for useful information and products to aid in carving!
Had a few problems at first, but the seller quickly hot them fixed for me and sent new files without hesitation. They looked so good!! Great file!
Clean vectors! It is a huge time savings when you can buy files and they are ready to use without having to clean up vectors first.
I had an issue with importing this into Corel draw but messaged the seller who responded immediately and sent me an eps file which was flawless. Members download with credits straight from the design page, with no checkout. Every design shows its credit cost before you download. Designs that are not members-only can also be bought individually at checkout, and the download link arrives in your order email.
Yes, at no extra cost. You can download a design you got with credits again from Download history on My Membership without spending another credit, including after your membership ends. If you bought a design at checkout, use the download link in your order email. If a download link has expired, contact us and we will reissue it free.
Vector designs come in our standard set: a Lined SVG (vector paths, best for CNC and laser cutting), a Filled SVG (solid shapes, best for laser engraving and cloud software like Easel or Glowforge), a high-resolution Transparent PNG (best for image workflows and apparel) and a Cut Line SVG. 3D designs come as STL files. Each listing shows what it includes, and some listings do not include every file type yet. If you need a file type that is missing, contact us. EPS, DXF and PDF are available on request.
Vector files work with LightBurn, Vectric (VCarve and Aspire), Glowforge, xTool, Easel, Carbide Create and more. STL files are 3D models for 3D carving and 3D printing software. Every credit download also includes the KC Vector File Guide (PDF), with a compatibility chart and the recommended file type for your machine.
What you are allowed to sell, and what you are not allowed to share.
Yes. The File License lets you make and sell finished physical products from our files, such as carved, cut, engraved or printed pieces, with no limit on how many. It covers every file you get from us, whether you bought it, downloaded it with credits or got it free. The license is personal to you: one person, or one business with one workshop, and it can't be transferred. Some designs depict military units, agencies or other organizations. The license covers our artwork only and gives no rights in anyone else's trademarks, insignia, badges or seals, and you are responsible for making sure your use and any sale of finished items comply with the law.
No. You may not share, resell, upload or give away the digital files, or edited versions of them, in any format. Selling or giving away the designs as digital products, templates, printables or cutting files is not allowed either. The license covers the finished physical products you make.
