These terms cover our online tools and guides, including KERF (laser guide), CHIP (CNC guide), Kinetic Laser Studio, the Job Pricing Tool (KC Cost) and any tools we add.

1. Access. Some tools are free and open to all, some need a free account, and some are for active members only. We may change which tools are free, members-only or available at all.
2. Guidance, not instructions. KERF and CHIP each have their own disclaimer, which you accept when you start using them (KERF disclaimer, CHIP disclaimer); those disclaimers apply in full alongside these terms. Across all our tools, settings, speeds, feeds, power levels, material advice and techniques are general starting points. Your machine, material, tooling and environment differ. Always test on scrap, follow your manufacturer's safety instructions, and never leave a machine running unattended. You are solely responsible for safe operation.
3. Estimates, not advice. Prices, costs and time estimates from our tools depend on the information you enter. They are estimates, not financial, tax or business advice. You are responsible for the prices you charge.
4. Your uploads. Images or files you upload to a tool are processed to produce your result. You confirm you have the right to use them. You are responsible for how you use the output, including respecting others' copyrights and trademarks.
5. Fair use. Don't overload, scrape, reverse engineer or get around a tool's limits or access rules, or share member access. Developer access is available only through keys we issue, under any terms we give with the key.
6. No warranty; liability. Tools are provided "as is". The disclaimer, limitation of liability and disputes sections of the Terms of Service apply.
