Subscription policy

1. Plans, price and automatic renewal

  • The membership renews automatically until you cancel.
  • Monthly plan: $30.00 USD charged every month.
  • Annual plan: $330.00 USD charged every year.
  • Taxes are added where applicable, and the price shown at checkout applies.
  • Charges go on the payment method you use at checkout, starting on the day you join and repeating on the same day each month or year.
  • You can cancel at any time, online, from My Membership (see section 6). Canceling stops future charges, and your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Refunds are covered in section 11 and in the Refund Policy.

2. What membership includes

Membership gives you:

  • download credits;
  • access to browse the full design library;
  • the ability to download members-only designs with credits;
  • member tools, where offered;
  • partner discounts, where offered.

Every design shows its credit cost before you download. The current benefits are described on the membership page. We may add, change or remove individual benefits. If we make a change that materially reduces what membership provides, we will tell members by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel before your next renewal.

3. Credits

  • Monthly plan: 14 credits are added each time a monthly payment succeeds, including your first.
  • Annual plan: 168 credits are added each time an annual payment succeeds. That is all 12 months of credits up front.
  • Rollover: unused credits roll over with no limit and do not expire while your account exists.
  • While your membership isn't active, credits can't be spent. They stay recorded on your account and become spendable again if you re-subscribe.
  • Credits are not money. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be transferred or sold.
  • Spent credits are final. A file you obtain with credits stays yours to download again at no further credit cost.
  • Credit packs are available to active members only. If a credit pack is bought without an active membership, the order is refunded and no credits are added. Purchased credits follow the same rules as membership credits.

4. Partner discount

Active members receive a personal discount code for High Country Tools' online store, as described on the membership page. The code is for your own use only. It has usage limits, is replaced periodically, and must not be shared or posted publicly. We or High Country Tools may deactivate a code that is shared or misused. The code stops working when your membership ends and starts again if you re-join. The discount, and which products it applies to, are set by High Country Tools and may change or end. It has no cash value and is not part of what a refund covers. Purchases from High Country Tools are between you and them.

5. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we or our billing provider may retry it. While a payment is outstanding, you can't spend credits. If it is not resolved, the membership ends. You can update your payment method from Billing.

6. Canceling

  • Cancel online at any time from My Membership, or by email.
  • Canceling takes effect at the end of your current paid period. We don't charge you again after that.
  • Until then, you keep full access. After that date:
    • you can't spend credits;
    • members-only designs are no longer available to you;
    • partner discount codes stop working;
    • your credit balance is kept, and the files you already obtained stay yours to download again.
  • You can undo a cancellation from Billing before the period ends, or re-join at any time.

7. Price changes

We may change membership prices. We will email you at least 7 days, and no more than 30 days, before a new price applies to your membership, including how to cancel. The new price applies only from your next renewal after that notice.

8. Annual plan reminder

If you are on the annual plan, we will email you before each renewal with the renewal date, the amount and how to cancel.

9. Confirmation

After you subscribe, you will receive an email confirming these terms and how to cancel. This confirmation is sent by our billing provider, Seal Subscriptions.

10. Your consent

When you subscribe, you agree to these terms and authorize recurring charges until you cancel. We keep a record of that agreement with your order.

11. Refunds

See the Refund Policy. Credits, credit packs and files are non-refundable. Monthly payments are non-refundable. Annual payments are refundable within 48 hours of payment if none of that year's credits have been spent. Duplicate charges and charges after a completed cancellation are always refunded.
